movies and they're still together. And we actually had a premiere of a
movie in Portugal, in Lisbon, where we rented a theater, and the whole
ship went there.
"It was a premiere of a movie by a Scientology director, Milton
Katselas,. It's his "Butterflies are Free" film. We were at the World
Premiere shown there and LRH and MSH were there. The whole crew was

I'd say Capt Bill in some ways reflected LRH's operating pattern more
than any other senior Sea Org official in the whole history of the
movement, with the exception of Bill blowing the Sea Org and the years
that followed.
Capt Bill's history before and after his period in the Sea Org is
important historical information by which to judge official
Scientology.
He had some impact, his views, some of them, seem right on the money,
and he was vying for LRH's and MSH's attention and support. He did
capably hold senior positions on the Apollo, and he was trusted to do
the Sea Org missions to Los Angeles in the late 60s, and to EU in the
early 70s.
I hope some of the ex senior Scn offiicals go through Bill's
administrative historical writings and confirm and refute the details
of what he wrote.
As wacky as Bill's writings are, his take on things mirrors how LRH
perceived the events of the late 60s, early 70s.
And to this detail quoted above, the minor point I notice is that when
the Sea Org goes en masse to the movies which happen to be by
Scientology celebrities, that that precedent is covered by Capt Bill
above.
