Another OT Leaves Scientology

After 26 years and reaching OT 5, L10, 11, 12, and Class 4 I have
decided to leave the Church of Scientology.

Reason: Betrayal After Trust

I believed it when Hubbard said you don't have to die to know who you
are.
I believed it when Hubbard said after completing L10, 11 and 12 you
will be Stably Exterior with Full Perception.
I believed it when Hubbard said you can have certainty of self as a
spiritual being.
I believed it when Hubbard said I can be totally free as a spiritual
being.

Not one of these came true for me or any other Scientologist I ever
knew. All are unattainable.

Hubbard told a staggering number of lies. Scientology was his biggest
science fiction success.

Scientology has one less OT to financially drain or to help spread the
lies. Me!

I didn't know this kind of total freedom could feel so good. Yes!!!

Steve

Congratulations. That is wonderful to hear. Looks like 2007 will be a
very good year for you.

It would be great if at some point you could relate to us whar it was
that opened your eyes and how you got to the point where questioning
the "churches" teachings did not leave you feeling guilty. Most of the
stories I have read most Scientologists when they have a thought that
is critical of the the "church" or tech they clamp down on it until it
goes away. I know it is probably very hard to talk about just now, but
when you are ready I am sure there are a lot of people here that would
love to hear it.

Take care and Good Luck

The problem *is* Destructive Cultism.

This is *not* about "spirituality" versus "materialism."

How in the world would you know that? You can't.

So how? Serious question - I am dying to know, (and hoping the answer
doesn't sound as fantastic as Dianetics-and-Alien-Genocide).
