Once again our great nation has entertained the world, putting on
two stunning exhibition matches this week. First was the Champions
League final, between the clubs who finished first and second in our
very own Premier League. The second - and whether the parties were
quite as closely matched as Manchester United and Chelsea will be
for you to decide - was between a 16-year-old schoolboy and City of
London police, who arrested him for carrying a placard referring to
Scientology as a "cult". The files went all the way to the Crown
Prosecution Service before finally being dropped yesterday.

I see that the Guardian out there across the pond has been calling
Epic Nose Guy "unnamed." I don't get it, why wouldn't they accept
his world-wide known name as given? The Guardian isn't the only
mainstream media that has called ENG "unnamed minor."

I sometimes despair about the way England is going - in particular,
the youth of the country with their hoods and knives. Feral yobs and
lager-filled louts ruining every town and city. And then comes along
ENG - a 15 year old very well-spoken and principled young person. So
principled that the City of London police trip over his sincerity in
their sleazy attempt to intimidate free speech. Now, I don't want this
young person to be under any pressure - he is taking his GCSEs and
that will be all-important for his future, but this guy, at the tender
age of 15, is surely a national hero and a champion of Liberty and
free speech. A shining example of the righteousness of Youth for all
the Western Nations gone fat, lazy and corrupt, like England, to make
them sit up and take note of their own shameful...
