Suppose someone asks a Mormon apologist the question:
"Do Mormons drink coffee?"
And suppose the apologist replies:
"Yes. Those of us who are lucky do."
Would that be an honest answer? Why or why not?

Now you are interested in their food and drink intake? Just admit it, you
wish you were Mormon.

That answer would indicate that the Mormon apologist doesn't have
respect for what the LDS Church teaches about drinking coffee.

Okay. No surprises there. "The Master" can't answer even the
simplest of questions. To recap:
Suppose someone asks a Mormon apologist the question:
"Do Mormons drink coffee?"
And suppose the apologist replies:
"Yes. Those of us who are lucky do."
Would that be an honest answer? Why or why not?

I agree.

calls you out on your continued desire to know more and more about daily
Mormon life? The only suprise is that for a mormon hater with a real
financial interest in the subject, you seem to be yearning to be a
Mormon...
As for the question itself, I'm not Mormon, so I don't know how "honest"
your theoretical answer is.

Not at all. The present case is a question about LDS honesty
regarding public doctrine (The Word of Wisdom, in this case). Let's
recap:
Suppose someone asks a Mormon apologist the question:
"Do Mormons drink coffee?"
And suppose the apologist replies:
"Yes. Those of us who are lucky do."
Would that be an honest answer? Why or why not?

I'm not asking about Mormon life. This is a hypothetical question
about Mormon *honesty.* Since you ignored the question, allow me to
repeat it:
Suppose someone asks a Mormon apologist the question:
"Do Mormons drink coffee?"
And suppose the apologist replies:
"Yes. Those of us who are lucky do."
Would that be an honest answer? Why or why not?

I just asked a mormon and she said that mormons don't. I said don't
some of them choose to do it any way? And she said "I don't know any
who do but I suppose if they did they would be a 'jack mormon' .

He is on the road to apostasy. At least to jack mormonism. Good
mobots do what they are told.
