I honestly never heard of "Morris Dancing" until I read this article
in the Independent.

Hey nonny no, no, no: Goths and pagans are reinventing morris dancing
Why the newcomers are putting the fear of God into the traditionalists
By Cole Moreton
Sunday, 11 May 2008
Just before dawn, by an empty shingle beach, sinister figures move
through the gloom. Living shadows, they're dressed all in black, their
coats made from long rags, their faces obscured by paint. But their...

Um, no. Quite a bit more - that was just the final payment.

My previous watch, which I bought about 15 years ago, was a Timex Ironman.
I worked in a watch-unfriendly industrial/chemical environment, so it was
ideal.
The Timex (also with Velcro band) is still working and on its third
battery, but I wanted something a bit more luxurioua, now that I am in a
non-hostile (so they SAY!) programming environment.

Then you haven't been paying attention; at least two of our longtime
contributors are morris-dancy and make no bones about it at times while
posting.
>Morris dancing is a joke, isn't it, with a hey nonny no?
No ... not really. But many nondancers see it as one.

I haven't worn a watch as such for several years now. Oh, they last longer
than their battery really should, but the strap inevitably breaks or corrodes
or just gives up. I have a clock down \-> in that corner, and one in my car
(which has an unexpected flat tire to-day, which I get to get fixed on Monday
once my garage opens again), one on my microwave, and one in my bedroom; I
don't really need one on my wrist, it turns out.

maybe i am losing weight, and the acid i dropped in college (i went to
college to learn about sex and drugs, thanks mom, for all your hard
work!) is slowly oozing out of my fat cells, and getting into my
blood, and going to my brain, or however that works.

See subject line. Actual quote floating over from local park, which is
several miles away. We suspsect the possibillity of dudes hiding in
one of the many hideable places of park, surrounded by the police with
bullhorn.
Police With Bullhorn would make an awesome name for a band.
