One need only follow alt.atheism, or it's regulars who post elsewhere, to
see how angry many atheists are. Whenever these individuals find an opinion
that differs from the view of the majority, they lash-out. The use profanity
and they launch personal attacks. Why can't everyone just enjoy an exchange
of views and leave out the tirades? Such hostility is unhealthy and
counter-productive.

Well duh! Look at what you deluded jerks are doing to the world. Any
rational person would be angry.

The majority is theist, you moron. And I'm not lashing out because your
opinion is different, I'm lashing out because you opinion is wrong.

You guys used to burn us at the stake. I think we're displaying remarkable
restraint.

Because your tirades are poisonous.
> Such hostility is unhealthy and counter-productive.
Nonsense. It's perfectly normal.

May your brain cells revolt and take over.

And the Thought of the Moment (TM) is:
A long and wicked life followed by five minutes of perfect grace gets you into Heaven. An
equally long life of decent living and good works followed by one outburst of taking the
name of the Lord in vain
-- have a heart attack at that moment and be damned for eternity.
Is that the system?

Are you suggesting that all non-atheists never get angry, never lash
out at those that don't agree with them, never attack the individual
(rather than the viewpoint) and never use profanities?
Have you taken a look at what your fellow Christians are posting? They
make the atheists you are complaining about perfect models of decency
and respect in comparison.
