If Joe Biden is a man of his word, this is shaping up to be a great ticket
the Democrats have nominated.

Biden Says He Believes Life Begins at Conception
Sen. Joe Biden, the Democratic nominee for vice president, told NBC's "Meet
the Press" that as a Catholic, he believes life begins at conception. Yet
the Delaware senator has a strong pro-abortion voting record.
"I'm prepared as a matter of faith to accept that life begins at the moment
of conception," he said.
Dawn Vargo, bioethics analyst for Focus on the Family Action, said: "Life
begins at fertilization - a new, unique human being is created when sperm
and egg unite.
"If Sen. Biden considered the science and really believed what he says, he
would act on those beliefs and oppose abortion. Otherwise, his words are
empty."

And you believe there are talking snakes and people who can rise up from
the dead and float up into the sky.
People harbor all kinds of ridiculous beliefs. Don't forget, they're only
beliefs.

Then he is ignorant of science - the sperm and egg are also alive.
Life began about 4 billion years ago.
The egg and sperm are alive as are the cells that they come from.
And so on back in an unbroken chain of life for 4 billion years.
When does a particular glob of life become a person?
Traditionally at birth - although in some cultures a baby was not
considered a person until it was one month old.
A sensible tradition when infant mortality is very high.

Whatever that's supposed to mean.

Except it's okay to cut off part of it's penis if it's real young.
