statements in his lineage. Ibn Asaker narrated that his mother was a
daughter of Prophet Lot.It was said, also, that his father was one who
believed in Abraham when he was cast into the fire.

The first opinion is the most plausable as he was a descendant of
Abrahams
offspring as Allah Almighty declared:

Old Time Religion
