Congratulations! to those readers who have resolutely continued with the
Daily Reading for the last six months. For they have now read half the Old
Testament, and ALL of the New.
May God bless your continued effort and dedication.

Bible Readings for Today
1 Samuel 18
Isaiah. 62
Matthew 7
For those who want to go directly to the source of this study guide,
it can be found at http://www.antipas.org/readings/readings.html

It takes normally between 20-30 mins per day depending on one's reading
speed.
It will be found many unanswered questions which may have seemed puzzling
and "Hard to be understood" are slowly and precisely answered as the Bible
is methodically read through day after day.

Here is a helpful link for anyone who either does not have a Bible to
hand, or might prefer reading from their computer, or might want to compare
different translations, or even read non-English versions:

Song of Songs 2:3
Like an apple tree among the trees of the forest,
so is my beloved among the young men.
I delight to sit in his shade,
and his fruit is sweet to my taste.

Song of Songs 7:2
Your vulva is a round mixing bowl -
may it never lack mixed wine!
Your belly is a mound of wheat,
encircled by lilies.

Song of Songs 8:1-2
Oh, how I wish you were my little brother,
nursing at my mother's breasts;
if I saw you outside, I could kiss you -
surely no one would despise me!
I would lead you and bring you to my mother's house,
the one who taught me.
I would give you spiced wine to drink,
the nectar of my pomegranates.

Hosea 13:16
Samaria will be held guilty,
because she rebelled against her God.
They will fall by the sword,
their infants will be dashed to the ground -
their pregnant women will be ripped open.

Genesis 8:21
And when the LORD smelled the pleasing odor, the LORD said in his heart, "I
will never again curse the ground because of man, for the imagination of
man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I ever again destroy every
living creature as I have done.

Exodus 29:18 -
and burn the whole ram upon the altar; it is a burnt offering to the LORD;
it is a pleasing odor, an offering by fire to the LORD.

Exodus 29:25
Then you shall take them from their hands, and burn them on the altar in
addition to the burnt offering, as a pleasing odor before the LORD; it is an
offering by fire to the LORD.

Ex 29:41
And the other lamb you shall offer in the evening, and shall offer with it a
cereal offering and its libation, as in the morning, for a pleasing odor, an
offering by fire to the LORD.

Why?

Many of the most important thinkers in the world, including Albert Einstein,
have stated that they think better using images than words. Roger Penrose
goes into this in his book "The Emperor's New Mind". I highly recommend the
book.
