THE WEDGE ISSUE CHRISTIAN

It has occurred to me that we have a new Christian category, pulling away
from traditional Christianity, which is the "wedge-issue" Christian.

Their Christianity comes in the form of embracing every political wedge
issue that politically ambitious pastors and K-street pols come up with.
The latter view their followers as mere instruments of their own ambitions,
and judging from their own personal track records when discovered, they care
little for the welfare of their congregations, and view them as sheep.

Political analysts know the important role a good wedge issue can play in
population manipulation. It doesn't matter if the wedge issue is truthful
or not, it is the emotions that it can evoke that matter.

Ralph Nadar and environmental concerns and the Green party were all the
product of the CIA. Nader contrary to his image, lives very well, and has a
large portolio of the biggest industrial polluters on the globe.

But before the reader gets too comfortable in being neither a wedge-issue
Christian or an admirer of CIA-asset Ralph Nader, there's another home for
the gullible--the Libertarian Party.

All are self-righteous in posture , all are devisive, and none make sense.
Good wedge issues must make people feel superior to others for them to work
properly.

All wedge-issues are focused on the sins of others, never the log in their
own eye, and all who are seduced by the hucksters, like Karl Rove with his
clever baton over many of the Christian wedge issues, i.e. "Terry Shiavo
Productions", even tho the x-rays of her brain 5 years earlier revealed a
large part of her brain was tranparent and had liquified.

The wedge issue Christian embraces all of the pot stirrings of their
con-artist religious leaders, and none of the teachings of Jesus.

Terry Shiavo

anti-abortion, but no assistance for "Welfare mothers"

creationism only

stem cell research

anti-removal of dead fetuses that won't deliver naturally, prefering the
death of the mother

Despite the evidence that all fetuses have female brains, and at 6 weeks
those to be male are supposed to receive a large influx of hormones that
change the female brain to a male brain, the WI Christian ignores the
obvious natural failure from God, that clearly cancels out the Biblical
injunction, because what good is a wedge issue if it isn't smug with
superiority?

Anti-Evolution--makes as much sense as anti-gravity.

All hot-button issues, designed to get Jerry Falwells, aabitious pastors to
be fast-tracked and get an invite to the White House and a sleep-over in the
Lincoln Bedroom.

And none of these make any real difference, and are incredibly invasive and
judgementa
--which makes them so attractive to people who really aren't
interested in the study of the teachings that were so important as to bring
Jesus here in the first place.

The Wedge-Issue Christian must be on every scam artists mailing list for
their demonstrated gulllibilty.
