Old man joe's theology says it was not for "all." That is the "L" in
T.U.L.I.P., representing "Limited Atonement." That theology
requires re-defining words of scripture such as "all" and "world"
to mean something other than their plain sense, as old man joe
tries to do below.

Clearly, old man joe blatantly contradicts the holy scripture. He
sets up HIS own point of view above the words of the apostle!
> if Christ died for all

Paul compared the scope of Christ's salvation with the scope of
human mortality that we inherit from Adam. What could be more
clear? And it destroys old man joe's theology! So he has to
struggle to wrest the scripture, trying to make it say what it does
not say.

So old man joe judges by how things appear to him, and he reasons
based on appearances, while true faith is based not on appearances,
but on the word of God! And that word of God clearly says that
Christ died for all!

2 Corinthians 5:14-15
For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that
if one died for all, then were all dead:
And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth
live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose
again.

Why does old man joe try to seduce us with his flawed theological
views? Paul warned about having our minds corrupted from
the "simplicity that is in Christ."

2 Corinthians 11:3-4
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through
his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity
that is in Christ.
For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not
preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not
received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might
well bear with him.

The truth is, Christ died for all, which means ALL HUMANS! And the
gospel says all are to be made alive in Christ. Jesus said:

John 5:28
Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that
are in the graves shall hear his voice,

All who are in their graves are to "hear his voice"! It is really
good news! God will wipe away all tears!

Isaiah 25:8
He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away
tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he
take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.

Death is to be destroyed!

1 Corinthians 15:26
The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

The gospel says by the death of Jesus, God has reconciled the world
to himself; those who believe the gospel have "a ministry of
reconciliation."

2 Corinthians 5:18-19
And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by
Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself,
not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us
the word of reconciliation.
