The Catholic Mass is a Babylonian/Persian religious rite worshiping
Mithra their "sun-god." In Deuteronomy, Chapter 12, the God forbids
us from adopting pagan practises to worship Him. Of course this
prohibition also inclkudes the catholic holidays Christmas (Mithra's
birthday) and Easter (the hatchingday of Easter/Ishtar/Astarte,
Mirthra's mother (a. k. a.: "queen of Heaven," "Mother of god," "The
Perpetual Virgin"), who turned into a tree to protect her virginity
when she gave birth) too.

As for idolatry: Praying to Messiah is idolatry. People who follow
Messiah would also follow His instructions to pray only to God the
Father (Matt 6).

We could go through a whole list,, but the basic fact is that
Protestantism is more Catholic/Pagan than it is biblical. So some
self evaluation is need before any Catholic bashing no matter what an
easy target that denomination presents.
