Paul is the one who said Christ died for all.
2 Corinthians 5:14-15
For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that
if one died for all, then were all dead:
And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth
live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose
again.

That is correct. Only the elect, whom God chose, will receive
saving faith in Christ, and it will be by faith in Christ's
work, not personal merits, or will (John 1:13; Rom. 9; etc.).
But that does not mean that therefore Christ died only for the
elect, which the Bible nowhere states.
Fact is, even the elect must be saved by objective faith in
the proclaimed word of God, regarding Christ's death and
resurrection for their sins. We are not saved by the arrogant
assumption that somehow...

All is many. And I'm glad you decided to use the word "all",
in contrast to many, because the Bible also says Christ is the
Savior of "all" men, "specially them that believe". Now what
is the limited atonement theory going to do with that verse?
Well, they'll try to insert the word "elect", where it is
nowhere stated. So let's see how that works:
"The Savior of all elect men, especially them elect that
believe"?

Old man joe's theology says it was not for "all." That is the "L" in
T.U.L.I.P., representing "Limited Atonement." That theology
requires re-defining words of scripture such as "all" and "world"
to mean something other than their plain sense, as old man joe
tries to do below.
