I was outside playing Frisbee with the dogs and a big storm blew up.
Daisy fled indoors immediately. The cat followed her. I decided this
would be a good time to work out so I did my bit on the elliptical, got
a cup of tea, and went and sat on my back steps for about half an hour
in a torrential downpour, let it wash the sweat off me. I love the
feeling of rain hammering on me; I sat there and raised my face to the
sky and just grinned like an idiot. It was wonderful, just cool enough
to be refreshing without being cold, and the contrast with my hot tea
was lovely. I stayed out there until the rain stopped. I am soaked to
the skin.
Sebastian, O faithful hound! stayed with me the whole time, blinking the
water out of his eyes, clearly thinking I was insane but to be humored.
Daisy braved the storm once to check on us, bringing her Frisbee with
her for a security blanket but it was too much for her. She picked it
back up and went back in.
I just toweled off the dogs - Sebastian rolled his eyes at me and
escaped as soon as possible. Daisy leaned into the rubbing until she
fell right over. Then she rolled around on her back grinning at me.
Silly girl!

no matter what the circumstances, reason, where I'm going to or how much
I do-or-don't want to be there, how it gets done, or any other factor ....
I HATE IT.

I got this from the American Medical Association just now. I figure Im
not the only person with aging parents, and grandparents...please,
people, if your conscience agrees, pick up the phone and call right NOW.
----begin quoted email
The Senate will be voting TODAY on a new, compromise bill to avert the
July 1 Medicare physician payment cuts.
The U.S. House of Representatives passed its own bill, H.R. 6331, to
block the July 1 Medicare payment cut by an overwhelming, bipartisan
vote of 355-59. This margin is more than enough to overcome a threatened
presidential veto.
The focus shifts again now to the Senate, which must consider and pass
the House bill. That vote could occur as early as this afternoon.
Call your congresspeople and urge them to VOTE YES on the House bill
6331. Use our hotline at (888) 434-6200.
There is not enough time for e-mails. Phone calls are the only way to
make your voice heard in time to stop the July 1 Medicare cuts!

Off topic?
dont talk dont TRUST dont feel
I'm not so sure.
Never the less.
To start with the internet is a terrible place to get medical advise. (TV,
too. ie. Dr Phil)
What this group is for is to keep us on track in our own recovery. So
......... What about you?
How come you are taking on this families' problems? Isn't your case load big
enough already? What problem are you avoiding in order to deal with someone
else's problem? Do you really need another lesson in MYOB?
This man is being cared for by a professional, a doctor, Do you really think
you can "control" the situation better than him?
Just sayin
This may not be as off topic as you think.

Notorious, his wife (and then anyone else living in the household)
is at high risk for violence.

Depending on his age, he could have developed schizophrenia. Or he
could have a brain tumour or any one of a number of other serious
medical problems.
