Happy weekend y'all...
what happens at the end of the recovery process?
I tried Step 12 on its own... but that was only part
of the way.
Then I tried steps 10 thru 12... that works much better.
I haven't had to go back to step 1 for a long time,
possibly now not ever...
I tired a whole lot of things in recovery,,,
some things i made up myself.
The recovery programme works okay, but it will
never be complete... those of us completing the programme
may sometimes have something to add...
...I will expect those following to have things to add as well.
Trust was always a big thing for me... at the moment I am looking
at "trust and risks".
Stepping out and taking chances... baby step kinds of chances.
At first these baby steps seemed enormous of course!
it happened at work this week... i was being treated badly...
[this is something i don't deal with very well. for obvious reasons.

False ego creeps in with a false ascendant. The ascendant is the
rising star and angel at birth. This star does not rise anywhere
across the horizon, but exactly at due east. It is called the eastern
star, aggelos thon theon, messenger from God. When the stars have been
encoded as heads of spirits, theurgy set in. The astrologer is able to
communicate through this system of ascendants, e.g. He would Chose an
Asbolus Elipinon conjunction with Spica Virginis in order to bless the
planet and crops.

How many of you ladies have (specifically) hormone-fuelled meltdowns?
How many of you men live with women that do? I'm curious. Over the last
couple years I've been having them like clockwork. It's a new thing and
I wondered if it was a pre-menopausal symptom, if anyone else has this
problem, or if I'm just special...
I'm REALLY tired of being special.

To all and sundry. Won't be posting much for a while. I've taken on
the mammoth task of studying for my early childhood teacher's
diploma. (I must be a glutton for punishment)! Got no time for idle
chit-chat now. :)
Missing you and you know who you are.

I just watched an episode of Cold Case, which is a show I can generally
take or leave. It has its moments, but I'm not married to it. This
particular one was about the death of two young people: a black boy from
the hood and a rich white girl. The boy was in the game, slinging drugs,
and something happened to make him give it up, and go back to school.
Long story short, he happens to wind up in the position of talking to
the girl when she reached the nadir of her despair, convinced her not to
give up just then and to go home instead, and as they parted she gave
him a silver dream-catcher so that he "could get home, too". (They both
died the next day)
I was suddenly reminded of a guy I once knew, long ago.
Bobby was a young black man from the East Oakland projects, the equally
addicted grandson of the old lady that used to score for me. She was
from Nawlins and I could barely understand her speech, but she called me
Lisbet, and I called her Mamacita, and I loved her. She used to make me
go to church with her on Sundays, swearing that if she could not save my
body she was gonna save my soul. She was a good-hearted woman who gave
the lie to the image of all junkies being bad people, could cook up a
storm and looked out for me as best she could.
