Interesting, but I wonder how dangerous it might for someone to
actually purchase a Bible in China.

Re: What is worse than reusing passwords?

I use this program to scramble my passwords and passphrases.
http://cdn.simtel.net/pub/simtelnet/win95/secmisc/Override.zip

It has an option to set up a password scrambler. What you do is type
in a chosen password into a password box, then double click the
password to highlight it, then you press an Fn key which converts the
password to an MD5'ed password, and then pasting it back into the
password box. It works well. The origional password you enter could
simply be the site name, its url, the first word on a site's page, etc.
There is an option to append a constant to your chosen password to
keep it unique to your system. There was some discussion on a science
site about it where someone was saying that there was not that much
more enthropy to the scrambled password, but the program does make
password remembering easier and eliminates having to look one up for
each site.

Someone is in the process of creating something like this as an addon
for FireFox.

We have had on bad attack, no doubt, on 9/11 but our government has
been in an out of control frenzy since then to collect information on
everyone. Only brainless citizens of the world want this kind of
information gathering and control. We owe a great deal of thanks to
the privateers who are continuously developing privacy shftware.
Please, keep up the good work! We need not worry about the bad guys
using it. They will always do something stupid in the end that will
get them caught.

The key to disabling any radio receiver/transmitter is to disconnect /
cut off the antenna. Most GPS units have visible antennas that can be
disabeled. Simply encasing an antenna in a metal cup/box will usually
be enough to disable it by blocking the signal. Covering it with
tinfoil might even work.

As far as data being saved on a car's computer, A lawyer advised that
if a cop tries to take your car's computer, that you should demand that
it is your property and ask for it.

I think that it would be better to leard where the computer is yourself
and retreive it if you have the time before any cops arrive. Put it in
a purse or briefcase and exercize your right to remain silent where you
can.

I disagree.

Eelbash Admin can do all sorts of partitioning on remailer users that
use his gateway.
