With Political Machines, speech is not free but very costly.

One many reasons I believe in worker owned co-ops instead of
capitalism is that with worker owned co-ops, the wealth is more
equitably shared.

When the wealth is drastically unequal as it is in the United States
it gives rise to politcal machines who set out to punish free-speech.
Speech is not free in capitalism, it is very costly for some because
of political machines.

William Grieder, who was an editor of the Washington Post, said we
have hundreds of political machines in the United States. Read about
it in his book "Who Will Tell the People."

An official with the Norwegian embassy in D.C. said corporations don't
have money to cause such problems in the Norway because of efforts to
make the earth more equitable.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

By the way, I've spent years and literally thousands of hours doing
research and writing a book for you on the environment. It's called
To Live Light and Traceless. I got the title from Arne Naess who
once said "when in vulnerable nature, live light and traceless."

I'll be finished with it soon.
