The skeptics said it couldn't be done but European Union nations have
just agreed on a missile defence perimeter to protect the European
continent from any future nuclear missiles fired on Europe by rogue
nations. The agreement was forged against Russian objections. Bush has
prevailed. It was way back in 2001 that Bush broke the agreement with
Russia not to engage in anti-ballistic missile defense undertakings.
That was the beginning of this policy and now we have seen
its fulfillment.
Two other recent significant successes of Bush in foreign policy are
to have NATO engage in military activities outside Europe as it is now
doing in Afghanistan. And now France has agreed to send 700 troops to
Afghanistan, the first action in accord with NATO since 1966.

All Hail The Leader! All Hail The Homeland!
Like all good pretend American Republicans, I demand that others do the
fighting while I sit back and post gibberish from the comfort of my bedroom.

Doubts are that it will never be built. And if built, it will be
obsolete before it's finished.
Oh, and guess who's paying for it?

Hi,
Fair comment, it will be the like the wall between America and Mexico,
all sound bites, and a waste of money which will be obsolete by the
time it's finished anyway.
Thanks

One report I heard last night is that the new barriers and
surveillance of the U.S. Mexico border are working and will become
even more effective.
