Make no mistake about it: Hillary is hardly the ideal candidate, but
compared to Obama she is like Abe Lincoln. She will go down in history
as the only Dem candidate to win almost every large state and not get
the nomination. She would have easily beat McCain and probably
governed from the middle to assure her re-election in 2012. So,
Hillary might not have been bad. On the other hand, Obama could have
severe problems beating McCain because he has been exposed as ill
informed and naive with Marxist leanings.

Parents didn't "dump" their children in state facilities because they
didn't understand what they had. There was a lot of cultural push at
the time and no community supports available<===SCARCITY for parents
who had children at home with challenging needs. The parents who
placed their children in facilities such as this did it because they
believed at the time it was the best thing to do for their child. Most
of them felt guilty already, even though they were told it was the
"right" thing to do. I have a lot of empathy for these families

of his Scouts will have to serve at least 30 years in prison before he
is eligible for parole, a Bexar County jury decided late Friday
afternoon.

James Hiatt was convicted Thursday on nine of 10 counts related to his
fondling and sexual contact with a 12-year-old member of his troop.

Hiatt was sentenced to 60 years, but may serve more if the judge
orders his sentences be served consecutively. He was convicted on four
counts of aggravated sexual assault of a minor and five counts of
indecency with a child.
