Many party members are having a hard time accepting John McCain
WASHINGTON (AFP) — While John McCain is practically assured the
Republican presidential nomination, many party members are having a
hard time accepting him -- and showing it with symbolic votes against
him in primary contests.
McCain faces doubts among Republican conservatives

As many as 25 percent of Republican voters want a different candidate
to represent their party in the November 4 presidential election. In
Pennsylvania, 27 percent opted for Huckabee or Paul; in North Carolina
and Indiana on May 6, McCain opponents earned 23 percent of the vote.

Al-Qaeda has reportedly called on its operatives to go to Lebanon and
defend what it called the Sunni community of the country.
The report came while some Arab media outlets described the current
clashes in Lebanon as a fight between Sunni and Shia communities.
In an interviews with Sunni clerics with links to Saad Hariri's
pro-government bloc, Al-Arabiya TV network described the ongoing clashes
as a sectarian strife.

I am telling you, get the troops out of Iraq and watch the sparks fly.
The civil war will make Saudi Arabia and our other allies practically
give oil to us in exchange for their safety.
All in All, you connies have no idea what you are doing.

Not only did the MORON go off topic, he proved my point. U.S. foreign aid
is funded from the Government's General fund, and is not a Corporate
program.
Now as to the nature of the aid. Lets be honest. It's largely discounts
offered on the purchase of Military Equipment produced by U.S. military
contractors.
So most of the U.S. foreign aid budget is sent directly to the U.S.
Corporate Military Industry.
U.S. foreign aid is therefore a subsidy paid indiretly to U.S. military
contractors.

just in case some of you don't know what is happening in American cities. I
think its time to ask for help from other countries. Our politicians ignore
us totally. We have over 200,000 people shooting others almost yearly. We
need help our politicians ignore the most important things , we are
sometimes now being censored. The criminals are using semi automatic machine

kids are going to sleep waking up screaming after watching what goes on in
the crime departiment. This is not a way for a civil society to live.

Move to resurrect CIA leak case
Ex-CIA agent Valerie Plame has begun an attempt to resurrect a lawsuit against officials in the
Bush administration, among them Vice-President Dick Cheney.
She accuses them of plotting to leak her identity in retaliation for her husband's criticism of
Iraq war policy.
Last year, a US district judge threw out the case, saying the officials had had the right to
respond to criticism.
Ms Plame's lawyers have now asked a federal appeals court to send the case back to a judge to
consider its merits.
Ms Plame sued Mr Cheney and three other former senior officials in the Bush administration.
The others named in the case were Karl Rove, a senior adviser to President George W Bush at the
time; former Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage; and former White House aide Lewis
"Scooter" Libby.
Libby was convicted on perjury and obstruction of justice charges in March last year, but
President Bush intervened earlier that year to spare him from going to jail.
Libby, Mr Armitage and Mr Rove have since left the Bush administration.
