Beliefs + Cognitive Bias = Irrational Decision-Making Dissonance about Iraq [ Obama ]

Author: Ynot B. Dull
Date: Mar 7, 2008 23:00

One Barak Obama would be wise to make himself aware asap of this interesting
Dec. 2007 Thesis regarding the George W. Bush [ Neo-Con ] administration
failure to implement a coherent national plan at the transition to
Stability, Security, Transition, and Reconstruction (SSTR) operations in
Iraq............. from Sept. 2001 to today in 2008.

Good luck in electing a more competent President next time round. Obama and
Paul appear to be the only two with any PROVEN common sense, in the current
race.

Obama adviser resigns after calling Clinton 'monster'

Mar 07, 2008 01:29 PM
THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

WASHINGTON-An adviser to Barack Obama has resigned after calling rival
Hillary Rodham Clinton a monster.

Samantha Power, an unpaid foreign policy adviser and Harvard
professor, announced her resignation in a statement provided by the
Obama campaign.

In the statement, Power expressed deep regret, saying that she made
inexcusable remarks that are at marked variance from her oft-stated
admiration for Clinton and from the spirit, tenor and purpose of the
Obama campaign.

Power said she extended her deepest apologies to Clinton, Obama and
the team she had worked with over 14 months.

Power's interview Monday was published today in a Scottish newspaper,
The Scotsman, even though she tried to keep it from appearing in
print.

Obama, don't stoop to her level

A year ago, nobody would have believed that Obama would be not only
competing, but *leading* Clinton now. The last thing Obama should do is
abandon the positive message that has brought him such success and adopt
Hillary's tactics just because she won Ohio. It is unseemly the way she
is grasping at straws and trying every different emotional angle from
sympathy to fear. The Clintons are very cunning and trying to beat them
at their own game will not work for Obama. Instead he must play his own
hand and work to immunize the electorate against Hillary's tactics.
