Pakistan's opposition deals crushing blow to Musharraf allies
Pakistan opposition heads toward victory
By Matthew Pennington, Associated Press Writer
THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
Monday, February 18, 2008
Islamabad, Pakistan - Pakistan's opposition dealt a
crushing blow to allies of President Pervez Musharraf in
parliamentary elections, threatening the rule of America's
close ally in the war on terror, according to unofficial
results cited by a private TV network Tuesday.
The party of slain former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto was
in the lead in Monday's parliamentary vote, with ex-premier
Nawaz Sharif -- who was toppled in Musharraf's 1999 coup
and has emerged as his fiercest critic -- running a close
second.
The private Geo TV network said the two parties had so far
won 139 seats, more than half of the 272-seat National
Assembly.

China NOT A VALID MEMBER of the United Nations Organization

'
The United Nations Organization is - and can only work, of course,
as - a democratic organization.
Democracy basically means,
seeing what people - all people, from local to global - need,
and, what they need of course as a main thing, is, to be asked
what life they want to live together, what they want to do
together;

I want to see these two blowhards get into a fight in their very own
thread.
Ladies and gentlemen, in this corner we have the insecure racist
puke Patriot Games defending his title as the most useless poster this
side of Jak and Clay! In the opposing corner we have the insecure and
angrily ranting master of something other than the English language,
Peter Principle!
Will Peter gain the upper hand by calling Patriot a moron or will
Patriot run the table by calling Peter a nigger? Which one will call
the other more names in this epic bout of the intellectually
inferior? Ladies and gentlemen, it's a fight for prestige and a fight
between youth and experience as the 180 year old Patriot Games sets
his wits against the 4 year old Peter Principle!
Let the best woman win!

Peak Oil will destroy our civilization.
Global Warming will exterminate our species.
After the first event takes place, how many will permit themselves to
suffer a hand to mouth existence within skeletal frames? How many will
end their existence and that of their friends and families rather than
contniously suffer from the knowledge that "they" were and remain
responsible for that crisis?
Prior to the second event taking place, how many of those starving
skeletons will condemn the greed that brought them to that end ?
Speaking of which . . .
The Tax Refusal is built on one argument:
That "The Rule Of Law" is based on the duty of all to
refuse to be party to murder.
Indeed:
"Äll have a lawful duty to refuse to support their society if that
society is participating in plans and preparations that are predicated
on a will and capacity to be party to mass murder."
Ergo: The Tax Refusal can't be defeated.
It continues to grow and shall achieve its stated goal.

2. CERAWeek – The Hess Heresy
From a peak oil perspective, the most interesting news from
Cambridge
Energy Research's 27th annual conference in Houston last week was the
talk given by John Hess, CEO of Hess oil. It is doubtful that the
conference planners knew what he was going to say for in essence he
told
the peak oil story to the over-flow crowd of 2000 or so conference
attendees. In words of the reporter from Platts, he "gave one of the
best speeches ever heard from one of the opening speakers".

The Trials of Henry Kissinger
The Making Of A War Criminal
"A fascinating, bombshell documentary that should shame Americans, regardless of whether or not
ultimate blame finally lies with Kissinger. Should be required viewing for civics classes and
would-be public servants alike."

What's that thing in McCain's cheek? The media should spend the next
6 months discussing it, along with madrasses.
