I reject your poll a priori.
The nation state is the only possible guarantor of the rights of
citizens.
Destroy the concept of nationhood and you get totalitarian (communist)
mostrosities such as the soviet union.

GE are you in a SPOT, about the Hudson River?
You goofed up and made a mess, but heck, learn to turn lemons into lemonade,
here is how I would do it. The polluted Mississippi River runs by my place,
it is about 80 to 150 foot wide, 1 to 5 feet deep around these parts. If I
were to take a Backhoe, and dig a 30 foot wide, 20 foot deep trench, for it
to run in, and use the dirt to fill the shallow Riverbed, so that I cloud
create Tillable Watered Land, where I could build a house on stilts, and put
a Water Wheel in the Trench, that after the Water flowed through a filter
system, that would make Electricity turning the Water Wheel, enough for my
House, and few Hundred others, just off the normal Current, and many more in
the Spring, when the Snow Melts.
If you did this, all the Way along the upper Mississippi River, you would
gain much land for building and planting, and gain much Electricity just off
the normal current.
Then because the Riverbed is Windy, add Wind Turbines to pump all the Water
that you need, and some extra for making more Electricity from higher up
Water Pools, and use filters to filter all the Water that you pump, to clean
up the Water that flows back into the River.

Against all odds, and despite the usual drumbeat of criticism,
President Bush had a very good year.
The troop surge in Iraq is succeeding. America remains safe from
terrorist attacks. And the Goldilocks economy is outperforming all
expectations.

What are symptoms of bone cancer?
Symptoms of bone cancer tend to develop slowly. They depend on the
type, location, and size of the tumor.
Pain is the most frequent symptom of bone cancer. Sometimes a firm,
slightly tender lump on the bone can be felt through the skin. In some
cases, bone cancer interferes with normal movements. Bone cancer can
also cause bones to break.
These symptoms are not sure signs of cancer. They may also be caused
by other, less serious problems. Individuals who are experiencing
symptoms should consult a doctor.
How is bone cancer diagnosed?
To diagnose bone cancer, the doctor asks about the patient's personal
and family medical history and does a complete physical exam. In
addition to checking the general signs of health, the doctor usually...

too sensitive or different but I can't prove it. What I think I have done
greatly is alerted as many people as possible about...

These greedy sociopaths and ego maniacs have sunk to a new low, even
by their debased standards. The no talent likes of Kevin Federline,
Carmen Electra and Paris Hilton are now charging as much as 100,000 to
party with the common folks. Of course anyone who would pay 20.00 a
beer to party with one of these narcissistic losers is in need of help
themselves. What gall on the part of these rich spoiled Hollywood
pigs; charging to sit and drink at a bar.

Global Warming Will Save America from the Right...Eventually
by Dave Lindorff
http://www.baltimorechronicle.com/2007/122407Lindorff.shtml
The future political map of America is likely to look a lot different,
with much of the so-called “red” state region either gone or
depopulated.Sat., 12/22/2007 - 19:21—Say what you will about the
looming catastrophe facing the world as the pace of global heating and
polar melting accelerates. There is a silver lining.
Look at a map of the US.
The area that will by completely inundated by the rising ocean—and not
in a century but in the lifetime of my two cats—are the American
southeast, including the most populated area of Texas, almost all...
