CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) -- President Hugo Chavez suffered a stunning

Gun nuts (antigunners, that is) have been crying for a nonlethal bullet
for years. Now they have one and they're still bitching? A shotgun shell-sized
projectile that knocks you down for 20 seconds would hardly have the juice to
kill anyone, I would guess, compared to the handheld unit with a much larger
battery. Plus you couldn't keep jolting the suspect like what was done lately
with some of these people.

Voters in Venezuela Say NO to Chavez - Reject Dictatorship

CARACAS, Venezuela (CNN) -- Venezuelan voters narrowly rejected a
constitutional referendum that would have bolstered President Hugo Chavez's
embrace of socialism and granted an indefinite extension of his eligibility
to serve as president, the National Electoral Council reported early
Monday.

About 51 percent of voters opposed the amendments, while approximately 49
percent were in favor of them.

(snip)

At stake were 69 amendments proposed by Chavez, who has said he wants to
steer Venezuela toward full socialism -- a state his detractors describe as
full totalitarianism.

The most controversial amendment would do away with term limits, thereby
allowing the 53-year-old former paratrooper, who has already served almost
eight years in power, to hold it indefinitely as long as he is re-elected.

If the amendments were approved, Chavez could have run for president in
seven-year terms.

CARACAS, Venezuela -- President Hugo Chavez suffered a stinging defeat Monday in a
vote on constitutional changes that would have let him run for re-election
indefinitely and solidify his bid to transform this major U.S. oil provider into a
socialist state.

Voters defeated the sweeping measures by a vote of 51 percent to 49 percent, said
Tibisay Lucena, chief of the National Electoral Council, with voter turnout just 56
percent.

She said that with 88 percent of the votes counted, the trend was irreversible.

"This was a photo finish," Chavez said immediately after the vote, adding that unlike
past Venezuelan governments, his respects the people's will.

It was the first victory for an emboldened opposition against Chavez after nine years
of electoral defeats.

  First amendment nonexistent in workplace

Author: Kevin Chavis
Date: Dec 2, 2007 22:56

Let me first state that I refuse to name the employer in this post,
doing so would jeopardize my job. And yes, I could have more than one
job, one that I have not named. So it might not even be the one you
would assume.

This is probably the most annoying thing I have dealt with at my
workplace: no talking. Seriously. I suppose it is like that working as
a cashier at Target or Wal-Mart. But allow me to describe this
situation before commenting.

Beginning this summer, we have new core standards at my work-place.
These standards are very positive and guest-centric and not new in any
real way. They are standards for the entire casino. Then there are
position-specific standards that are decided by those in charge of our
department. The one I primary take issue with is the "no-talking"
standard. Specifically it states: "The team member refrained from
unnecessary and/or personal inter-team member conversations while in
the presence of guests or in visible guest areas."

LOL you moron!
He claims to have worked with psyops yet can't even name the year he
went through Fort Bragg for his MOS 37F or his instructor's name.

He says "...I?ve worked with people in the CIA, DIA, NSC, NSA, SAIC,
Army Intel ..."

The NSC is the National Security Council, which consists of the
President, select Cabinet members, the director of the CIA, and the
director of Homeland Security (since 2003). It's not even an
intelligence agency and has no agents.

You people are fuckin' retards.
