It must suck being so stupidly clueless going through life having others
figure things out for ya. You must feel better to have someone at FAUX
tell you what to think and say like little flocks of sheep so you don't
have to get all upset by yourself thinking about the bank repossessing
your scooter cause your pension went away when the CEO took all the money
to the caymans

Oil Rents, Corruption & Conflict
Just as governments like the US and the UK need oil companies to
secure fuel for their global war-making capacity, so the oil companies
need their governments' military power to secure control over global
oilfields and transportation routes. It is no accident, then, that the
world's largest oil companies are located in the world's most powerful
countries.
Power has primacy in the oil business, because of the incomparable
value of key fields. Production costs vary widely from one place to
another, leading to intense competition for the lowest-cost locations.
The difference between cost and sales price is so large that
economists sometimes refer to the gap as a "rent" – an extraordinary
profit enjoyed by a producer with a unique market advantage.11
All producer companies want to gain control of such lucrative profits,
by fair means or foul. Company rivalry typically leads beyond ordinary
market-based competition. As many studies show, companies and...

MISTER Geoffrey P. Hunt is a nutter.
He has no connections with the Institute for Scientific Analysis nor is
he the same person as Dr.Geoffrey P. Hunt, PhD, who is a senior analyst
and the Institute.

Patrick "The Chief Instigator" Humphrey has styled himself a
libertarian, but that libertarianism could just be a thin veneer over
a totalitarian mentality which is evidenced by his embracing of a
"guilty until proven innocent" attitude in a recent post.
He actually projected that attitude onto the USA as it now stands: see
excerpt below
Background: I've been (falsely, but that's actually beside the
point) charged with forging headers in an e-mail I received back in
1994, and that is what the "guilty until proven innnocent"-style
comment of Humphrey has to do with:
------------------ begin excerpt, beginning with Spartakus's words:
>> why are you running away from those bogus headers, perfesser?

No, Christanic terrorists are occupying Afghanstan. Big difference.
> Has Obama said he would stop that war?
Yes, he's a Christanic terrorist liar.
> If he does not stop that war, then isn't this now a Democratic war crime?
Yes, absolutely. Execute all of the war criminals, what
political Party they belong to is irrelevant.
