No one with an ounce of common sense would agree with you. There's
plenty of oil in existence within our national borders. We could
produce oil for decades.
Further, we can produce fuel through coal gasification and it was
profitable to do so when oil prices were far below what they are today.
The U.S. cannot afford to ignore *any* step which will reduce the price
of energy.
