The Overton Window: political thriller
The Overton Window, a rip-roaring read of the first order, is as good a political thriller as you're going to find this year."
A plan to destroy America, a hundred years in the making, is about to be unleashed . . . can it be stopped?
There is a powerful technique called the Overton Window that can shape our lives, our laws, and our future. It works by manipulating public perception so that ideas previously thought of as radical begin to seem acceptable over time. Move the Window and you change the debate. Change the debate and you change the country.
For Noah Gardner, a twenty something public relations executive, it's safe to say that political theory is the furthest thing from his mind. Smart, single, handsome, and insulated from the world's problems by the wealth and power of his father, Noah is far more concerned about the future of his social life than the future of his country.
But all of that changes when Noah meets Molly Ross, a woman who is consumed by the knowledge that the America we know is about to be lost forever. She and her group of patriots have vowed to remember the past and fight for the future--but Noah, convinced they're just misguided conspiracy-theorists, isn't interested in lending his considerable skills to their cause.
And then the world changes.
An unprecedented attack on U.S. soil shakes the country to the core and puts into motion a frightening plan, decades in the making, to transform America and demonize all those who stand in the way. Amidst the chaos, many don't know the difference between conspiracy theory and conspiracy fact--or, more important, which side to fight for.
But for Noah, the choice is clear: Exposing the plan, and revealing the conspirators behind it, is the only way to save both the woman he loves and the individual freedoms he once took for granted.
After five back-to-back #1 New York Times bestsellers, national radio and Fox News television host Glenn Beck has delivered a ripped-from-the-headlines thriller that seamlessly weaves together American history, frightening facts about our present condition, and a heart-stopping plot. The Overton Window will educate, enlighten, and, most important, entertain--with twists and revelations
no one will see coming.

MISTER Geoffrey P. Hunt is a nutter.
He has no connections with the Institute for Scientific Analysis nor is
he the same person as Dr.Geoffrey P. Hunt, PhD, who is a senior analyst
and the Institute.

Frau Thomas had the courage to wear the swastika arm band unlike her
fellow Democrat fascists. She, mistakenly thought she was protected by
her Obamatron fascists but they betrayed her in her moment of need.
The Democrats are cowardly fascists, that talk one way, and then enact
fascist legislation when they think no one is looking. I guess you
won't be seeing Helen belting out a "heil Obama" with this cowardly
Fuhrer.

After last Friday's fall of over 3 percent in the market value, the
market followed up, today, with a fall of 1-2 percent more, instead of
bouncing back. Neither fall was due to lack of evidence. Last
Friday, we learned that private market jobs are continuing to dry up
and housing sales were dropping...not to mention the Euro falling
under Obama's proposed recovery plan to them.
Today, those realities are still REAL. Unemployment is at twice what
it was in Bush's last year in office. Terrorists are still trying to
get into the country (while Obama is fighting states that seal the
border). Russia says they are trying to get nuclear material (while
Obama is helping Iran build nuclear bombs). Our wars are expanding,
instead of ending (apparently, they didn't get the memo that they
should be appeased with an Islamic heritage U.S. President). The oil
spill is still spilling and coming ashore (while Obama is going
golfing and to the theatre).

Here's a thought. With all of the oil spill, there's been an impact
in the desire to drill by the people. Obama's even using it to push
his energy policies. But, stop and think who benefits from what is
happening.
WHERE do we buy a huge chunk of our oil...the Middle East. In fact,
we buy a lot of it from the terror supporting nation of Iran. If we
started drilling domestically, it will cost them a lot of money. So,
TELL ME that a country that sponsors terrorism wouldn't be tempted to
USE terrorism to destroy a well to keep Americans buying their oil.
In fact, why WOULDN'T they do it?
Now,it is possible that there is no terrorism involved, here. But,
look at our government's lax response and unpreparedness. Tell me it
wouldn't be a tempting target for FUTURE terrorism. Are we prepared
to prevent that...to respond?

You have already been exposed on that lie. On the article you cited
Roubini says that austerity is _NOT_ the correct medicine and OBAM's name
is not mentioned.
http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE6541DW20100605 ------------
If governments implement austerity measures too soon they risk snuffing
out demand and recovery, but delays could provoke a catastrophe with high
interest burdens and inflation.
"You're damned if you save and you're damned if you don't," he said.
Roubini said it was "possible to square this circle" if governments
committed to a credible medium-term plan to restore their budgets.
But such policies, which carry the risk of a deflationary recession, must
be compensated for with a loose pan-European monetary policy to stimulate
demand.
