Here a homo-hugging newspaper makes it seem as if the homos were the
ones being terrorized.

"It was a Sunday morning with all the makings of a gang war. The
marchers across from St. Patrick's Cathedral wore whistles and
blew them long and loud, the shrill blasts riding on the stiff wind
through midtown. Blocks away, the long wail sounded as if it had
been carried across the seas, over desert sands, from the lips and
trilling tongues of fervent Muslim women making their Zaghrita
cry.

"Put O'Connor in Jail," said one sign.

"O'Connor you make us ill," said another.

"Este hombre contagia el sida," said one sign below a picture of
the cardinal. This man spreads AIDS."
