I once worked in a university near London, and one of the newby
undergraduates was Bn Lardin, he was about 20 doing aeronaughtical

It did eventually occur to me that these names are common, I also met
Le'Hoptal the mathematician (le'hopital rule calculus) and the freind of
deguarre who inveted photography (necpiece). These are all direct decendants
of those well known people.
