Bin Laden can be faked to say anything

I know, I know, you could never fake a video. Especially when we are talking about the most
dangerous man in the world, right? We have only seen it done in countless Hollywood
productions, in the most convincing of manners, time and time and time again. Well I just ran
across this video. I would like to point out that this video seems to be shot much closer than
its supposed authentic predecessor. Enjoy!

Cheney's Assets Nearly Triple Bush's
The Associated Press

Thursday 15 May 2008

Washington - The millions of dollars in assets reported by Vice President Dick Cheney and his
wife, Lynn, nearly triple those held by President Bush and the first lady, Laura Bush,
according to newly released financial disclosure forms.

These reports, which were required to be filed by Thursday, show that the value of both
couple's assets remained about the same in 2007 as in the previous year.

The reports show that the assets of the president and his wife totaled at least $7.2
million, including the 1,583-acre ranch in Crawford, Texas, valued at $1 million to $5 million.
The previous year, the assets of the president and his wife, Laura, were worth at least $7.5
million.

The assets of Cheney and his wife, Lynne, amounted to at least $20.8 million last year,
compared to $21.3 million in 2006.

Because the forms only require public officials to report their income and assets in
imprecise ranges, the actual numbers can vary widely.

If their incomes and assets are at the upper end of the range, the Bushes would be worth
nearly $20 million and the Cheneys would be worth nearly $100 million.

The president and vice president also reported receiving a number of gifts last year.

‘War on terror not against Islam, waged for US global dominance’

* Visiting UK lecturer says war in Afghanistan justified, Iraq invasion not
* US has come to Afghanistan due to long-term interests

By Zakir Hassnain

PESHAWAR: The war on terror is not against Islam, but for the United State’s dominance over the
world, Yunus Samad, a senior lecturer at the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities at
the Bradford University in the United Kingdom and deputy director of the South Asia Research
Centre in Geneva, said on Saturday.

Delivering a lecture entitled ‘Islam in Europe and Extremism and Fundamentalism in Pakistan’ at
Peshawar Press Club Dr Samad said, “The war on terror should not be seen against Islam. It is
for US global dominance. Whoever stands up to the US, Americans consider him to be their enemy.”

The British researcher said North Korea - one of the countries declared to be part of the ‘axis
of evils’ by the US was a non-Muslim state. “So, this is proof that the US war on terror is not
against Islam,” he said.

Prof Samad, also a director of the Ethnicity Social Policy Research Unit at the University of
Bradford, said that the US is a powerful country and it is difficult to resist its global
dominance policies, and that countries opposing the US dominance should form an alliance to
resist it.

Justification: Prof Samad said the West was divided over religious fundamentalism and many
European countries did not agree with US global policies, adding France and Germany opposed the
Iraq war despite...

Islam: Is it a religion of violence or of peace

There is no consensus on the nature of Islam.

Some state that Islam is a religion of peace and moderation, "which is tolerant and encourages
inter-religious dialogue for the benefit of humanity:"

1 For example:

The President of the United States, George W. Bush, has emphasized that "Islam is Peace" on a
number of occasions.

2 A sizeable percentage of North Americans view Islam in a positive light. The Pew Research
Center for the People & the Press conducted a public opinion poll among 1,500 adults on
2001-NOV-13 to 19. Americans, particularly "conservative Republicans" repudiated an unfavorable
view of Islam. The survey found that:
bullet The percentage of Americans with a favorable view of Muslims rose from 45%% in May to 59%%
in November.
bullet The percentage of conservative Republicans with a favorable view of Muslims rose from
35%% to 64%%!
