This democrat congress is going to give us lots to laugh at. What a damn
embarrassment.
Video: Barney Frank throws a fit . on the House floor
The Republican arguing with power-hungry Barney Frank is Patrick McHenry.
McHenry rose to offer an amendment that would exempt American Samoa from the
stem-cell bill - a clear dig at the fact that Samoa, which is home to
StarKist factories that employ nearly 75%% of the island's work force, was
conspicuously exempt from the minimum-wage bill that had passed the day
before. Why is that important? Because StarKist is a branch of Del Monte
Foods Co., which has its headquarters in San Francisco, Nancy Pelosi's
district.
Frank was not amused. This is sure to be four of the most eventful minutes
of your weekend:
My favorite part is at the end, when Joe Barton rose to remind Frank of how
often he used procedural objections to bloviate against the GOP when he was
in the minority.
For the record, Pelosi is now promising to close the Samoa loophole in the
minimum-wage bill.

Bush's Insanity Surge
by Cindy Sheehan
Bloody George, the lamest duck in U.S. history is going to soon announce to
the nation that he will be sending 21,500 more troops into Iraq, which some
call a "surge," some call an escalation, and what I like to refer to as:
Operation Increasing Cannon Fodder.
The Hypocrite in Chief has said over and over again, throughout nearly four
years of his malevolent and dysfunctional occupation that he would increase
troop levels when the "generals on the ground" asked him to. I guess he
never said what he would do if his generals on the ground asked him not to
send new troops, but apparently one will get his ass canned as Generals
Casey and Abizaid recently found out.
We humans for peace and sanity need to descend on our Congressional offices
to avert this calamity in the making. This past week, Speaker Pelosi
threatened Bloody George with withholding funds for this newest venture into
the abyss and WE need to make sure that she follows through with that
threat. Bloody George's funds need to be cut off. He can't perpetrate any
more murder or perpetuate any more hatred if the cash cow runs dry.

This is what happens with incompetents in congress folks.
Pelosi's Tuition Pledge Could Hurt More Than Help
By Nathan Burchfiel
CNSNews.com Staff Writer
January 04, 2007
(Editor's note: During her "first 100 hours" as speaker of the House of
Representatives, Rep. Nancy Pelosi has identified seven key agenda items,
one of which is to cut in half the interest rates on college loans.)
( CNSNews.com) - Incoming Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) has
promised to make it easier for low- and moderate-income students to afford
college tuition, but some political experts predict the cost of such
promises could hurt the Democratic agenda and the very students the party
says it wants to help.
The Democratic plan for college tuition, formulated by California Rep.
George Miller, would lower interest rates on federally subsidized college
loans to 3.4 percent from 6.8 percent.

Bush Sacrifices Soldiers for Escalation
The Pentagon will no longer limit the time a soldier can spend fighting on
active duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. The military can now cycle the same
troops indefinitely in and out of Iraq and Afghanistan, where soldiers
previously could not serve more than 24 cumulative months.
In other words, a citizen-soldier could be mobilized for a 24-month stretch
in Iraq or Afghanistan, then demobilized and allowed to return to civilian
life, only to be mobilized a second time for as much as an additional 24
months. In practice, Pace said, the Pentagon intends to limit all future
mobilizations to 12 months.

"Slowly, slowly, slowly it will sink into the consciousness of even the
slowest American that his/her government doesn't give a rat's ass about
him/her as an individual.
It will slowly, slowly, slowly dawn on these patriotic folk that they've
been conditioned from birth to think "My Country, Right or Wrong" and to
willingly step right up to be slaughtered on command by "authority."

The tax dollars are gone. The money has been being borrowed from Red China
and India.
In turn, Bush has been outsourcing American companies & jobs to commie
nations.
