Nonetheless, plenty made it to California and stayed,
and even prospered compared to what they were doing in
OK. The point is, your claim is demonstrably false.
One need not have much money at all to relocate. No
one claims it will be easy, and at first their lives
may not appear appreciably better than they were when
they were still wasting time in a place with no work.
