You are giving me two options:

1. Allow home schooling under any circumstances, including
failing-to-perform home-schooled children...at least it keeps
creationism out of schools

2. Forbid home schooling for failing-to-perform children but be prepared
to embrace creationism as part of the curriculum

I think there's a 3rd option

3. Forbid home schooling for failing-to-perform children and tell the
creaationists that their lunacy is about as welcome in the school
district as teaching the kids the virtues of pornography.

Schools really have fallen down on the job if so many people out there
insist that some nutty story of the Bible be taught in public schools.
