Beyond the Islam-West divide: An Imam and a Rabbi

LAST month, on 14th of April, I moderated a dialogue at the University of Delaware, with an
Imam and Rabbi. The speakers at the event were Rabbi David Kalender, a senior Rabbi from the
congregation Olam Tikvah in Fairfax, Virginia and Imam Muhammad Magid, the Imam of ADAMS Center
in Northern Virginia and the Vice-President of the Islamic Society of North America.

It was enriching and frighteningly frank at the same time. The principal participants later
confided to me that this was one of the more enlightening and candid dialogues they had engaged
ever participated in.

Imam Magid insisted that in an interfaith dialogue it was important that participants be
willing to handle the tough issues in good faith and also be willing to examine the religious
texts that can be source of discord or misunderstanding. He came down very strongly against
anti-Semitism in the Arab world and insisted that, theologically speaking there was little to
dispute between Muslims and Jews. He agreed that American Muslims must do more to combat
anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial.

the European Union for its hostile attitude towards Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), for offending

the presence of world conscience.

In ITV news coverage of the Champions League final last night, in
which Manchester United defeated Chelsea on penalties, suggested that
it was fate that Man Utd would win 50 years after the Munich air
disaster which killed many of the "Busby babes". It was also 40 years
after first winning the trophy (then called the European Cup).

Tiny differences, like Chelsea hitting the post and crossbar and John
Terry slipping as he hit the ball for a penalty that would have won
them the match, can have a big effect on the result of a match - and
that can have a big effect on the morale of many millions of football
fans around the world, especially when a prestigious trophy is at
stake. The morale of the players and manager, and the fans who are
cheering the team on, can affect how well the team play.

A friend of mine once said that all British men were faggots, he didn't

Montreal 911 Truth Movement Averts Mossad Metro Terror Plot

Recently the makings of a plot for a 7/7 style terrorist attack by
Israeli Mossad terrorists against MontrealÂ’s Metro was exposed.

Who discovered this?

Brent Crude just passed the $135 a barrel mark this if it persists is REALLY
going to cause tremendous problems across the world, especially on oil
dependant nations like the US, Canada, UK, Europe etc. Its not just the cost
of fuel thats going up and up , but everything that gets transported by
road, rail, ship or plane thats getting ever more expensive.
The left wing labour scum in Britain are raking in billions in extra tax
revenue yet they still refuse to cut the tax burdon on motorists and
truckers, just in May alone , the extra taxation on the cost of fuel has
given the govt an extra 540 million pounds( over $1 billion) , thats just
off the price rises alone.

3/4 of what we in the UK pay for fuel to power our cars, heat our homes or
to run our trucks and buses is taxation, most of which this left wing
government wastes on hair brained schemes.

The UK govt needs to and can afford to cut fuel tax by 50 pence a litre to
get our industry going.

Compare and contrast the behaviour of Glasgow Rampagers fans in England
last week - violence plus a sea of vomit, excrement and urine - with the
exemplary behaviour of English fans in Moscow. RH
