Thank God Someone Is Listening to Us - Terrorism Is Not Jihad

by Sheila Musaji

The U.S. Government recently issued a statement asking that government officials be cautious in
their use of language as it may actually be against the interests of the U.S. to use terms that
connect the religion of Islam with the acts of criminals. The governments suggests the use of
more accurate and non-inflammatory language. A recent Homeland Security Report even sharply
rebuked John McCain’s ‘Islamic Extremism’ rhetoric. Of course, Islamophobes like Robert
Spencer and Hugh Fitzgerald don’t approve, but they also thought Islamo Fascism Awareness Week
was a good idea.

The governments new awareness that words have meaning has been attacked as caving in to Muslim
pressure by a number of groups and individuals who currently make a nice living defining Islam
and Muslims. As an American Muslim who loves both Islam and America, I say “Thank God Someone
Is Finally Listening to Us - Terrorism Is Not Jihad”. Perhaps now we can work together to
combat the very real problem of extremism and terrorism.

Go Jesus, come back and kick the Pharisees back to Antarctica!

http://careandwashingofthebrain.blogspot.com/

Mel Gibson filming "Passion of the Christ" Part II

Mel Gibson's publicist announced today that Mr. Gibson was buys filming
"The Passion of the Christ" Part II, in which Jesus comes back and does
some serious ass-kicking of the Pharisees, beating the holy crap out of
that self-righteous bunch and tossing their sorry asses out of
Palestine, for being corrupt heathens and hedonistic.

The publicist, M. Magdalena said the movie script took up what happened
after JC kicked the Pharisees and their brood out of Palestine and they
land in Egypt's Sinai, where they embark on the real Exodus, running as
fast as they can, trying to escape JC's wrath.

They steal a flotilla of boats and head for South America.

Since the Pharisees had to work the sails and tiller by themselves and
not being used to physical labor, they wind up in Antarctica, where
they "discover" ancient scrolls that said that Antarctica was actually
their homeland, so they go about slaughtering all of the penguins for
having the nerve of trying to live on land given to the hedonistic
Pharisees by their gawd.

  Hitler had star ships

I hope McCain does not get in he would only make the decisions of an old man
and be similar to the terrible mistaken policies of Bush.

The young Mr Obama seems a great guy and Mrs Clinton has the advantage of
being experienced.

If Obama or Clinton get in we might get star ships but if the elderly McCain
gets in we will fail.

What are we going to do as the Oil gets short?

What are we going to do about climate change?

Only a young person can give us the right decisions.

Hitler had star ships and Nazis left the planet to set up a colony in
another solar system while us back hope flounder in the mistaken policies of
the old men of the then British empire who did not know what stars are.

I hope the young win this contest, if they do Mankind will survive better.

I am very disappointed that we don't have star ships. Our puny ships can
only just reach Mars.

We need a new Power source, Hitler had one but the British had oil and
lacked the foresight to use Hitler's source of power. The people in power do
know about it but won't use it because there is no way they can make enough
money out of it.

A housing support worker, who smuggled a baby from Nigeria in a
"callous" bid to get a free flat, was jailed for 26 months today.

Peace Sandberg, 40, branded "manipulative and a stranger to the truth"
by the judge, is believed by police to have paid ÂŁ150 for the three-
month-old boy in her native country.

She then used a forged birth certificate to get a visa for him from
the British High Commission there.

Within hours of landing at Heathrow, the fraudster, a former
Kensington Housing Trust support worker who had been living in a
hostel, was at Ealing Council's homeless persons unit, cradling the
child in her arms.

She claimed she had returned to Africa in December 2006 to give birth
and now needed a flat for herself and her "son".

But London's Isleworth Crown Court heard Sandberg was immediately
recognised by housing officer Lizette Reddy

Bush hails Israelis as ‘chosen people’ but ignores Palestinians on ‘catastrophe’ day

By Donald Macintyre in Jerusalem
Friday, 16 May 2008

President George Bush lavished anniversary praise on Israel yesterday, as Palestinians
commemorated the "Nakba" or "catastrophe" when 700,000 were forced from or fled their homes 60
years ago.

In a special address to the Israeli Knesset, Mr Bush declared that the US was proud to be the
"closest ally and best friend in the world" of a nation that was a "homeland for the chosen
people" and had "worked tirelessly for peace and... fought valiantly for freedom."

And in a speech that linked together Hamas, Hizbollah and al-Qa'ida, the President likened
those – including "good and decent" people – who urged negotiations with "terrorists and
radicals", with supporters of appeasing the Nazis before the Second World War.

On Iran, Mr Bush said that permitting "the world's leading sponsor of terror" to possess "the
world's deadliest weapon" would be "an unforgiveable betrayal of future generations".

Mr Bush's speech was notable for only one reference to Palestinian aspirations for a state. He
did not allude to the current negotiations between the Israeli Prime Minister, Ehud Olmert, and
the Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, on the outlines of two-state solution that he himself
helped to kick-start at the Annapolis conference last year.

‘Occupation 101’ Film Offers Historic Perspective on Palestinian-Israeli Conflict

As we observe the 60th Year Anniversary of the Palestinian ‘Nakba’ or ‘Catastrophe’ that
culminated in May of 1948—and which tragically continues until this day…

We would like to bring to your attention a multi award-winning documentary film called
Occupation 101 ( http://www.occupation101.com ) for anyone interested in learning and educating
others about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

“Occupation 101: Voices of the Silenced Majority” is a thought-provoking and powerful
documentary film on the current and historical root causes of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
The film is presented through first-hand on-the-ground experiences from leading Middle East
scholars, peace activists, journalists, religious leaders and humanitarian workers whose voices
have too often been suppressed in American media outlets.

“Occupation 101” has won 8 film festival awards throughout the United States including “The
Golden Palm Award”—the highest jury award and honor given at the 2007 International Beverly
Hills Film Festival.

Richard Falk from the United Nations Fact-finding Commissioner on Human rights, and Professor
of international Law said:

(Washington, DC - 5/14/08) - Four of the country’s leading Arab-American and Muslim-American
advocacy organizations today issued a rare joint letter expressing strong reservations about a
recently released Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee report on
“homegrown terrorism.” The report, issued jointly by Committee Chairman Joe Lieberman (I-CT)

Introducing Islam
Friday, 16 May 2008 01:06 Bliss

I. ISLAM AND MUSLIMS
The name of this religion is Islam, the root of which is Silm and Salam which means peace.
Salam may also mean greeting one another with peace. One of the beautiful names of God is that
He is the Peace. It means more than that: submission to the One God, and to live in peace with
the Creator, within one’s self, with other people and with the environment. Thus, Islam is a
total system of living. A Muslim is supposed to live in peace and harmony with all these
segments; hence, a Muslim is any person anywhere in the world whose obedience, allegiance, and
loyalty are to God, the Lord of the Universe.

II. MUSLIMS AND ARABS
The followers of Islam are called Muslims. Muslims are not to be confused with Arabs. Muslims
may be Arabs, Turks, Persians, Indians, Pakistanis, Malaysians, Indonesians, Europeans...

West 'In a Slough Ignorance of Islam'

Once again the CIA and MI6 are publishing dire warnings of the vitality of Al-Qaeda. Once again
the Islamic world as a whole is being tarnished by association.

US presidential contender John McCain is saying that America needs a leadership to confront the
transcendent challenge of our time: The threat of radical Islamic terrorism.

And the words still ring in our ears from Samuel Huntington's treatise, "The Clash of
Civilizations", the book that in many ways triggered this paranoia that infects the
politicians, the press and the public discourse. "The underlying problem for the West is not
Islamic fundamentalism, it is Islam", he wrote.

Few, if any, in the Western leadership seem to make the point that Al-Qaeda is a deviant
phenomenon within the Islamic world, just as Hitler was a deviant phenomenon within the
Christian world (commentators seems to overlook Hitler's early speeches calling on Catholic
principles). But Islam has a much better record over the ages of dealing with its deviants who
take violence to excess. Islamic culture has never been tolerant of Nazism, fascism or
communism. Christianity has spawned all three. Buddhism failed to resist Japanese militarism
and Confucianism provided hospitable to Maoism. Yes, there was Saddam Hussein but he was an
atheistic brute without an ideology.

Of course, there have been many incidents in the long history of Islam when there have been
large-scale losses of life. The massacres and starvation of the Armenians in 1915 still stirs
the waters of contemporary...
