Guess the number of relatives, girlfriends, mistresses and friends of friends employed by MPs competition.

Author: Robert Henderson

In the mid-nineties I was told by an MP that a member living a fair
distance from London could clear net £150,000 pa from salary and
allowances if they really thrashed all the allowances - mileage,
housing allowance for a London place etc - and employed their relatives.

My guess is around 80%% of MPs if one includes friends of friends. You
know the sort of thing: "I say Buffy, my son needs a bit of cash this
summer. Can you fix him up as a researcher?" RH

Marginalising the poor - bank accounts, cheques and the social worker state

Egg acts over 'risky' customers

Credit cards are to be withdrawn from 161,000 Egg customers who it
believes pose an unacceptably "high risk".

Story from BBC NEWS:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/go/pr/fr/-/1/hi/business/7222336.stm

Published: 2008/02/02 10:09:55 GMT

Note: As it is increasingly difficult to live without a bank account and
it will be difficult of these people to get a new one because of Egg's
classification of them as bad risks, think of the effect o on 161,000
people and their families.

It is worth adding that Egg was taken over by Americans last year and
that their interest will be solely with profit. RH

Where are these 1.4 million jobs coming from Mr Freud?

Welfare is a mess, says adviser David Freud
By Rachel Sylvester and Alice Thomson

Last Updated: 8:22am GMT 02/02/2008

INTERVIEW: David Freud tells Rachel Sylvester and Alice
Thomson how the private sector can get Britain back to work

1.9m on benefit 'should go back to work'

Note: Freud claims that there are 2 million people who should not be on
IB but admits that only 1.4 million could be returned to work. What does
he propose should happen to the other 600,000 "fit for work" IB
claimants.

As for the 1.4 million he thinks can be returned to work , where
exactly does he think the jobs will come from? We already have more than
1.5 million officially on the dole with only 600,000 vacancies. Not only
that but we have in effect an "open door" immigration policy with the
vast majority of new jobs going to immigrants.

Don't Treat The Old And Unhealthy, Say Progressive British Doctors

UK: Don't treat the old and unhealthy, say doctors

The Telegraph ^ | 1/26/08 | Laura Donnelly, Health Correspondent

Posted on 01/26/2008 10:45:53 PM PST by bruinbirdman

Doctors are calling for NHS treatment to be withheld from patients who
are too old or who lead unhealthy lives.

Smokers, heavy drinkers, the obese and the elderly should be barred
from receiving some operations, according to doctors, with most saying
the health service cannot afford to provide free care to everyone.

Fertility treatment and "social" abortions are also on the list of
procedures that many doctors say should not be funded by the state.

The findings of a survey conducted by Doctor magazine sparked a fierce
row last night, with the British Medical Association and campaign
groups describing the recommendations from family and hospital doctors
as "outrageous" and "disgraceful".

About one in 10 hospitals already deny some surgery to obese patients
and smokers, with restrictions most common in hospitals battling
debt.

The Persecution of a German Scholar

http://www.germarrudolf.com/

Imagine an expert in DNA analyses. He is asked to verify if a defendant
is the father of a child. He complies and confirms the fatherhood of the
defendant. With his testimony, however, the expert contradicts the
statements of many witnesses who claim the opposite. Imagine the judge
ruling not to admit the expert testimony because it makes spectators
assume that the witnesses lied out of sinister motives. The judge even
puts the expert witness on trial for inciting hatred against the
witnesses and sentences him to 14 months in jail. You think it can’t
happen? It does happen in Germany...

STIs on increase in over 50s

Author: Thinking Man's Crumpet
Date: Feb 2, 2008 11:24

More than one in ten (12 per cent) sexually active over-50s do not use
contraception with their current partner to avoid sexually transmitted
infections (STIs), while also not knowing about their partner's sexual
history. Recent research has shown increasing cases of STIs in older age
groups. "This is all very worrying", says 68 year old Gertrude Whally,
spokesperson for the charity Exit.
These findings came as part of a wider survey into the health of the
nation's over-50s.

Well done to Egg for deleting 160,000 customers who can't pay their credit
card bills.

In Norway, if we can't afford to buy something we save up for it and then
buy. In England, you just spend on the credit and then wonder where will
you get the money from to pay, perhaps borrow some more money? You get into
debt and then borrow to get out of debt. What sort of people are you?

Spotlight on Shills: How to spot Jewish surnames

Author: nowarforisrael.com
Date: Feb 2, 2008 09:42

The most powerful tool Zionists have is their relative invisibility -
they look white and they use it to promote Zionist interests like
islamophobia, Iraq/Iran, diversity, communism, internationalism etc,
while speaking as patriotic Americans with America's interests at
heart. It is an extremely powerful strategy that has been used to push
America into wars for Israel past and present.

This list will help you identiy the zionist shills, profuse in Western
politics and media, and make sound rational judgements of their words
and deeds.

While this list may never be complete, it will cover most of the
Jewish names one is likely to encounter in everyday Western life.
Unlike many gentile names, there is such a thing as a 'Jewish name.'
Many Jewish persons can be recognized as being Jewish by their surname
[last name], although not always--some Jews are adopted, or their
forebears changed the family surname, or their surname simply does not
appear Jewish.

Here are the most common Jewish names likely to be encountered:

-Names ending in "-berg" (Goldberg, Weinberg, etc.)

-Names ending in "-man" (Goldman, Lightman, etc.)
