I'm snipping the Dale Houstman confusion debate to just the point, which is
that its not my obligation to explain what's what in a thread to him or
anyone else. He came into the thread "cold", probably just jumping in to
throw a one-liner type insult when the name "Will Dockery" showed up... so
he apparently became confused over the fact that there were two poems under
discussion, which you admit even an idiot could have figured out were
similar, but two different poems.

So Dale made a sloppy, perhaps "many" would say stupid mistake... if he were
someone else "many" might still be laughing at him about it.

Gary Gamble and others, in fact, have just recently raked a new person to
these newsgroups across the coals for asking what they consider to be
"stupid questions"... DH could have done his own work, looked into the
thread, have seen that there were two poems under discussion, and written
his opinion.... just like you and I are doing right now.

Instead, he asked a stupid question and got just the answer he deserved, or
could be expected on Usenet.

There was an old cracker who'd suck
His own turds, which he'd carefully tuck
In under his tongue
So they jauntily hung
Like the cocks he would do for a buck.

What?
Only an imbecile would confuse this plain-spoken parody for a
limerick about Will Dockery, which would, in order to match its
subject, have to lack imagery and, especially, imagination.

There was an old cracker who'd strew
Stupid noises he'd call a "review,"
But his mouth was all stretched
By the dollars it fetched,
So he only could mumble and spew.

We certainly do know Will.

There was an old cracker who lied,
But he lied and he lied and he lied,
Though he did, we can hope,
Wash his mouth out with soap
Between each of the peckers he tried.
