I agree,

my backname translated into english is meaning something like
"chickenfield". No one ever takes me serious.

But it was only a piece of land where the farmers had their crops from
and the name with which they sold their crops on the market in Delft,
the Netherlands.

The cocks in our shieldweapon mean allertness, but the second meaning of
"cock" isn't helping me here I think. Having a weapon for shields was
only a matter of payment also.

The "Leon" bit comes from lion, which is my astrology sign.
Born in 1964, also having the Chinese dragon astrology sign, it makes me
a "fiery" person.

Well in some cases, joining a sect, you can have your name changed.

A japanese colleague once had so much difficulty with "Leon" that I
asked him to call me "Lou".

But you can call me Locutus.
