IMO there are other reasons as well.
For instance qualia are insane delusions
representing sensor inputs and other brain states,
such as "feelings". We literally have "visions".

I wonder if you watched the link to the blind artist?
Puts pay to the traditional way of understanding sensory inputs.
Also illustrate how people like Carey con-fuse growth stimulus, for
illness.
Happiness and joy are not genetically linked.
If I choose to be lazy, I become miserable. If not, the joy is
present.Of course, there is a hormonal connection, but many people
believe that is a cause, and why they dig deeper holes for themselves
but trying to obtain the effects without effort.
