Love is an emotion, emotions are feelings, feelings are an effect,
they therefore have a cause.

Your emotions are your response of your value judgements, nothing more
nothing less.

Love therefore is a "response" and therefore cant be the the cause of
anything.

It is often said, "you must show your love" implying love is a
tradable commodity or something that can be given or received without
judgement by its intended recipient, this is simply bizarre and not
true.

In reality, you can only act according to your ideas and nature and
your ideas and the resulting actions will either be in harmony or in
contradiction of another person's ideas and values and it happens vice
versa.

In other words you cant force your love and you cant expect to be
loved via the arbitrary nor by whim and wishes.

You're placing words in my mouth, that is not what I said or even
implied.
> But you qualify this as "feeling".

Love is only an emotion, emotions are a response of your value
judgements and sometimes your initial judgements, therefore your
initial response, can be over time proven wrong, so very very wrong.

Love takes time and constant checking. There is no such thing as
"instant love", its utter crap and I pitty anyone who holds that to be
true.

The fact that some people will say, "they fell in love the first time
their eyes met", only ever do so when things are going well in the
relationship.

There are millions of people who sincerly believe that nonsense and
crash to earth in the most heart shattering manner, some even commit
suicide, when one of the partners and totally unexpected fucks off.
