Is love just a feeling you have for someone?
Or is it more a positive demonstration by way or words and actions?

I had a man round to lunch today.
He is married so we both know that nothing can occur between us.
I long ago decided I would never have a relationship with a man who was
already committed - as it did once happen to me.
When the guy who it happened with told me he had been unfaithful and then
tried to blame the woman for seducing him and tempting him etc - I was
devastated. The fact that he had been tempted or tried to blame her made no
difference - but the fact that it had happened was awful.
So when this married guy does come round to see me - I think of the woman he
is committed to and how she would feel if I did have a relationship with him
and she found out. I would not wish this on anyone.

So this man and I have a mutual agreement that we love each other - but it is
from a distance.
