Art major Aliza Shvarts '08 wants to make a statement.
Beginning next Tuesday, Shvarts will be displaying her senior art
project, a documentation of a nine-month process during which she
artificially inseminated herself "as often as possible" while
periodically taking abortifacient drugs to induce miscarriages. Her
exhibition will feature video recordings of these forced miscarriages
as well as preserved collections of the blood from the process.
The goal in creating the art exhibition, Shvarts said, was to spark
conversation and debate on the relationship between art and the human
body. But her project has already provoked more than just debate,
inciting, for instance, outcry at a forum for fellow senior art majors
held last week. And when told about Shvarts' project, students on both
ends of the abortion debate have expressed shock -- saying the project
does everything from violate moral code to trivialize abortion.
But Shvarts insists her concept was not designed for "shock
value." [Sure]

A certain heathen came to Shammai and said to him;
"If you can teach me the whole Torah (law) while I stand on one foot,
you can make me a Jew."
Shammai repulsed him with the builder's cubit which was in his hand.
He went to Hillel and Hillel said to him;
"What is hateful to you, do not do to your neighbor;
that is the whole Torah; the rest is commentary;
go study."

Jewish artists have a well established tradition of making demented
fine art that makes people physically sick or disturbs them mentally.
It's the turd on a plate and you should take offence.

If someone hands you a turd on a plate you should not ponder and
pontificate over it you should smack them in the face.

Re: what is a Jew
Here are my interpretations, which means this is not WIKIPEDIA, where
one gets actual studies by scholars.
The legalistic definition of the Orthodox is of course the off-spring
of a Jewish woman.
So, I accept that.
That doesn't to me exclude these perceptions:
The off-spring of a Jewish father
Atheists and agnostics (me) of Jewish descent
People whom have been regarded as Jews by political decree or by legal
or by governmental treatment
Descendants of Marranos who secretly didn't give up Judaism in the
Inquisition
People converted by Reform & Conservative rabbis (not necessarily
accepted as such by Orthodox)
Though Jews have been both ghettoized and self-ghettoized for at least
1500 years, there have been
breedings by volunteer or force with non-Jews.
Some wholesale conversions a la the Khazars.

If you're talking about Yeshua, I thought he was a carpenter.

This is not a woman thing. This is a nasty, ugly vile jew hag, who
like so many of her kind, love pushing all limits of decency in a
society whose traditions and concept of morality they despise.
