Direct personal experience and knowledge, isn't indoctrination. Sharing
knowledge and wisdom and alternative perspectives isn't indoctrination of
others either.
When the two medical biology scientists proved that stomach ulsers were
caused by a bacteria which could be treated simply with an anti-biotic, the
indoctrinated scientists and doctors had a hard time believing it. It took
decades before the new treatment was applied to patients.
Jesus actually taught reincarnation as an accepted view, but it didn't stop
the Christian Churches from indoctrinating their followers that we only live
once. That indoctrination is so deep in western culture that even the
atheists still believe it. Go figure! :-)
And yes, born as a Hindu or a Buddhist, and one will be indoctrinated by
that culture into believing in reincarnation. But that does not negate the
fact that a mature individual still is the only one responsible for what
they believe, and nor does it stop an individual from proving to himself
that reincarnation is a reality.
So, if one thinks about it carefully, with reason and logic, indoctrination
really has nothing to do with this at all. :-)
