War is good for the male.
Not good for the female.
War develops strength - honour - courage and moral conduct.
Women become weaker and are protected FROM war.
By woman getting involved in war - they are trying to be male - which they
are not.
The same as men do not take up knitting or sewing or changing nappies and
bottle feeding.

I doubt that it made many in Germany or Japan or for that matter in
France and most of the rest of Europe. Even in Britain one of the
winners, most rich families lost most of their money because of
government taxation.

War is overall bad for business, the sharemarket goes down when war
starts and goes up on news that it is finishing.

And therefore so too is the means to fund war a racket, its called
stealing legitimized in a scam called taxation.

Tax is the war used to pay for any and all other wars.

Being bad for people (in supermarkets) is not the same as being bad for
business.

It was WWII that really pulled the US out of the depression. Many things
were rationed.

Supermarket is not the stockmarket.

The US was one of the few participances in the war where economically
it was good for business.

In Germany, France, Eastern Europe, occupied Western Europe, Italy etc
most businessmen would have lost almost everything. In Britain about
half his wealth would have gone.

The dumbya quagmire _lowered_ taxes on the rich:

"Either support tax cuts on the rich or you're a Saddam lover."

If you extend this "bad for business" into Europe then yes, ok.

If confined to the US, then no.
There is an interesting aspect to the War business during WWII. It
modeled Communism in many ways.
