U,S. Government Must Intervene To Stop Some Home Foreclosures

The U.S. banking business is apparently crashing.

There is probably going to be a Great Depression II.

The U.S. government is seemingly figuratively paralyzed somewhat a la
Katrina.

Single family-owned homes (owned by occupiers) that go into loan
default
could become new 30-50 year U.S. government backed mortgage loans.

Of course, these loans shall not be gimmicky bait mortgages that
started this mess.

Thus:

Many bank and mortgage company bad loans would be paid off.

It may now be too late, because many other kinds of loans (commercial,
credit cards et cetera) are reportedly getting into trouble as the
economy worsens, while this is rather simple, obvious, and hopefully
amazingly effective measure.

Speaking as someone who saw the writing on the wall and sold his house
just in time, I would be sorely upset if those who stayed in their
houses despite the impending doom got a bailed out by uncle same and
ended up better off than me.

Thereby lies one of the problems with the capitalist community.

People hate the thought of being worse off then someone else, even if
they themselves are better off than most.

To Robert. I was not asking of your personal situation, just a general
comment as if you were advising your 'friends' ;-).

No, some of us just have a more refined sense of justice is all.

I see no injustice. Is that too refined?

Well,I can't think of solutions and tips as such

There'll undoubtedly be books and articles about past hard times, and
how to surmount the 21st century's

The thing is, nuts etal have been predicting hard times ever since i
can recall

The proverbial broken cuckoo clock is correct two......(cliche)

The American people seem to generally understand the real world &
seem to adapt better than I can

I suppose it could get as bad as the 1930s, and I worry about my adult
children adapting

The worth less dollar is disturbing

The gas and diesel prices are doing enormous damage, because the U.S.
isn't compact

The local news media are seemingly ignoring bankruptcy stories (not
"news"), tho i doubt that the average reader doesn't know of others
who are filing bankruptcy while hopefully there employer hasn't yet

The trucking industry must be going crazy (crazier)

It's a psychological thing, and surely depressing everybody's morale
