Like aging hippies still living in communes, I suppose there shouldn't
be any surprise that Tiggy is stuck in a time warp of his own. Someone
should inform him that the "soviet-era" he is here so eager to praise
ending in ignominious defeat over 15 years ago.

It is no wonder therefore that he noticed an item about space
technology but
not this one about the number of billionaires now living in Moscow.

At least now when Russia invests in space technology it is not as
glaringly at the expense of feeding its people. Tiggy presumably has
nothing to say about the "soviet-era" bread lines caused by "soviet-
era" collectivized farming or that Russia is once again a major grain
exporter as it was PRIOR TO the soviet-era.
