Trans-dimensional theory is addressing the crap out of that question - how
can a thing be approaching and receding at the same time?
I recently got a gig working on writing project about that very subject.
It's gonna be a lot of fun to see this stuff hit the community.
I can't say much about it yet, but the core is called the "Prime Dimension".
In 3d space, it's a cube with a 4-sided pyramid stuck to each face.
As obsessed as I've been with religion-bashing all these years, that one's
becoming my new fascination.
