Tired of trolling

Date: Sep 19, 2008 05:46

I've been at it for almost 15 years now, and I'm no happier or more
content as a result. Maybe it's been a discharge valve, or maybe it's
been a deleterious distraction; I can't tell. All I know is that I'm fed
up with the whole thing.

Part of it has to do with the slow demise of Usenet. It's so much less
fun these days, because the majority remainders are too salty to even
care, much less react appropriately. But most of it is just my own
personal dissatisfaction. "Duping delight" has run its course. I'm no
longer delighted at anything.

I don't know what to do. I despise web forums and have no desire to
taunt the participants therefrom. Yet, I can't live without trolling.

Perhaps it's just time to end it all. :(

Are you really tired of trolling, or are you only trolling until
you're tired?

There was only one Christian, and he died on the cross.
