Of course those who do become Angels/Borg/God will learn of the true Jesus
story which the disciples covered up as they knew no one would ever believe
it unless they had been there and seen and witnessed it themselves.

It is the most wonderful magical story - and you do have to believe in the
very impossible and very unlikely and the most remarkable.
But it was a very very happy story and one that Angels do tell now and then.

Sometimes if you look over the world as the snow is falling - and see how
the rooftops turn to white - in a very dark blue but not black sky with a
few twinkling stars - and then say the word "Christmas" and then this line
of a song "starry starry night" you get a very vague feel of what may have
could have occurred.
But certainly was not pain or crucifixion.
