Then why are the Polls still 50/50 in the US?

Despite the pretense of Bush's buddy John Howards conservatives here still
"pretending" they were great economic managers and the world would stop and
the Unions would take over the Nation if the liberal Labour party won ......
and the media in general ignored the 12 months of previous polls and kept
pandering to the existing govt bs and spin, the polls were consistently
60/40 or better. And that is what panned out in the election.

So something is not quite kosher in the US and the Palin hubris and media
pandering is just another example of it. Is there another "stolen" election
on the way yet again?
